About me

Hi to all, i'm "JAVA How to" blog admin. I'm Oscar, a guy from El Salvador that wants to do something more than post in a blog about technology stuff, i want to share what i know with the people but learn from people too. Probably i'm not something like a social-networking or SEO guru but i like to have a blog and publish things and so on.

Actually i'm a university student from 5th year in the carreer of Computation Systems Engineering, you know, things about software development, networking, web design and so on.  I loove the web design but i'm not good at all so i'm trying to be better on that. So i focused on software development, mainly on enterprise applications. I like to learn various programming languages but also i think that i have to specialize on some languages only, so the languages that i like are PHP (to develop lightweight web applications) and JAVA. I like JAVA, in a beginning in the university i learn .NET but i never like Visual Basic.NET so i learn by myself Visual C# because it's syntax looks like C/C++ syntax (That curly braces, semicolons world always have called meeee to deep in it). The time passed and one day, a job opportunity knocks my door, but the problem was that the job was for JAVA developer and i didn't know anything about JAVA, so thanks to that situation (and friends support) i learned JAVA and now i work developing enterprise JAVA applications.

JAVA for me is a great language, powerful and with a wide variety of topics to learn and i'm only on the beginning so i'm studying each day about JAVA stuff like the basics, using third party libraries or about the different JAVA API's. I like to share that so i want to blog about that and that's the purpose of this blog, also recopile tutorials or things like How to's that are very useful when we don't have any idea about how to do something.  Enjoy it and be free for asking anything about this whole world called JAVA here.

Apart of all, i'm a guy like anybody else, i like to watch movies, go out with friends (girls mainly ), listen music (electronic music mainly), play videogames (i looove PSP) and so on.
